New Pods for the New Season

We are about to start our third summer in operation, and in the first two years we have learnt a lot. We’ve made adjustments to the pods themselves, adding bits and pieces after feedback from guests, trying to make the place as cosy and comfortable as possible without adding too much. Our booking system is now a bit slicker, our connections to other businesses around the island that bit stronger, and our love for the place as powerful as ever.

Running Nanny Goose’s was our dream and it has lived up to our hopes. We have met so many kind, friendly and positive people – it’s a real treat to have interactions with people on their holidays, at their most relaxed, or at the point at which they can start to chill at least.

Achill is perfect for switching off, or for getting stuck in, for turning the dial down and taking it easy, or putting the foot down and getting involved in the swimming, hiking, surfing, or the singing and dancing.

We have been so pleased with the feedback from guests so far about what we have built here, and it is our real delight to say that we have been building again: 3 brand new pods arrived in the spring and we have been busy getting the place ready for their use this summer. We were so pleased with the previous ones that we have decided to repeat the trick and now have 7 beautiful, luxury glamping pods in the heart of Achill Island.
